“Behold, I will do a new thing;” Isa 43:19.
Everyone in this world like to have new things in our life. Any new thing attracts the human mind. We always want to shed off old things, or things that had worn out from our life, and want to replace them with new. At the beginning of every year, even our resolutions are new.
Even in the book of Luke chapter 15 of the Bible, the Bible speaks about a young man who thought that he had come to the end of his life, a thought sparkled in his mind that he can have his life renewed or remodeled if he reaches out his father. His aim was to continue as one the servants of his father just to feed his tummy. When he tried that he was surprised to get a very good reception and overwhelmed reaction from his father beyond his expectation. The Bible continues to tell that his life got a new beginning which he never expected not as one of the servants of his father but as a son who was once lost and was found again. Everything in his life become new including his mindset and goals. This story really depicts a beautiful and very clear picture of our heavenly father, our God Almighty.
Our Father God is the God of the beginning, He is called the “Alpha” and “Omega” …the beginning and the end… Everything that proceeds from our God is new. Where ever He interrupts there we can see a new thing or a new beginning. The Bible starts with a new beginning. The world which was created by our God was distorted and was in out of shape. This was done by the enemy. The enemy Satan thought that the world had come to an end. The Bible declares that when God remembered the earth, he renewed it and gave the earth a new beginning.
When the whole of mankind which He created corrupted its life and was going astray (Rom 3:12 “They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” Rom 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” ) the Son of God, Jesus Christ came into this corrupted world and showed the world that a man can live holy in this corrupted world and went to the cross of Calvary just to shed His own precious blood for the redemption of mankind, and to give a new beginning to everyone who believes in Him.
Whenever the world think that this is the end of the road, God intervenes. And whenever he intervenes, He gives a brand-new beginning. “old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new”, declares the Bible (2 Corinthians 5:17) Whatever He does is new.
Dear friend, maybe you are thinking that your life has come to an end and there is no hope further. It may look like a dead-end of the road. Don’t give up. There is someone who makes everything new. In Isaiah 43: 19, the Bible says that “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert “. In the Book of Revelation 21: 5 it says “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new”.
Jesus the creator and redeemer of this world, like the father pictured in the Luke 15th chapter of the Bible, is looking for you. He is ready to accept you and make everything new in your life. Maybe there is a lot of chaos and confusion in your life. You may have messed up everything in your life. There is still hope for you. And you will see a new beginning in your life. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the Beginning, come to Jesus and find the new beginning of your life.
